Our Story
On a breezy summer evening during the COVID era, we found ourselves enjoying our favorite sangria recipe crafted by our mother. This delightful concoction, a celebrated and cherished fixture at our family gatherings, sparked an idea. Why wasn't there a premium sangria readily available at liquor stores? And why hadn't anyone thought to package it in a stylish and convenient can?
The very next day, we dashed to the liquor store, buying every available sangria to test our theory. As we suspected, none met our standards β their flavors were flat, the packaging was uninspiring, and none came in the sleek 12-ounce can we envisioned. On the serendipitous date of 11/11/2020, Sangri was born.
Now, a few years later, we are thrilled to introduce the best-tasting sangria on the market, elegantly served in eye-catching 12-ounce cans. We hope you love Sangri as much as we do, especially now that it's accessible anytime, anywhere. At Sangri, we believe βItβs Always Sangria Season.β
The Winery
Washington wine country, particularly the Columbia Valley, is gaining recognition as a significant wine-producing region in the United States, rivaling Napa Valley. The area's climate plays a crucial role in its success. With warm days and cool nights, the region offers an ideal environment for grape growing. This diurnal temperature variation allows grapes to develop balanced acidity and rich flavors. The Columbia Valley's semi-arid climate, coupled with controlled irrigation from the Columbia River, ensures that vineyards receive optimal water levels, reducing disease risks and improving grape quality. This unique climate has helped transition the area from orchards to vineyards over the past 50 years.
